    Not Without A Fight

I'd like to know: "Not Without A Fight" is a title of an american band's album.

What exactly does it mean? In life you have always to fight for something if you want to get it.
I think this is the meaning.
What's your opinion? Thank you in advice

I think it means: I won't give up without any attempt of making things better!

    Re: Not Without A Fight

We say things like "I'll give up but not without a fight". It means that we might end up losing but we will try to win.

If you "put up a fight" it means you try to win. It doesn't have to mean a physical fight. It can just mean that you are defending yourself or trying to win. It can be a physical fight, a legal battle, a battle of wits or opinions.

It has a general meaning that you've already been given. However, as an album title, you might find that there is one song (the title song of the album) that has this title or line in it. The specific meaning and reason for the album's name could come from the meaning in that song.
