    'It's giving me the pips!'?

    Hi all,
Is this a British idiom meaning 'to make somebody angry'? If yes, is it a contemporary idiom?

    Best!

    Best!
It's "the pip". Yes, to give somebody the pip is to annoy them. No, it's not contemporary.
