    Open or opened

    Hi all,

    Consider a situation:


    Assuming a door is open, if someone asked me if he can close the door.


    What should be my replay

    1) Keep it open

    or

    2) Keep it opened



    Someone please explain

    "Keep it open."

    "Open" is the adjective.

    "Opened" is used like this "The door has already been opened." Or "The door is opened automatically when the sensor detects your presence."
