Welcome to the forum, Ansh Agrawal.

The idea of the forum is that you tell us what you think first and then we comment.

I think you mean 'roof'.

Welcome to the forum, Ansh.:hi:

We like to help when we can, but you are more likely to receive a response if you post a reasonably polite request, Such as, 'Could you tell me which prepositions go here, please?' We also like people to try themselves first.

That is fine.

There are many possibilities for the first. Only more context will enable us to choose an appropriate one.

1. O God ! Keep me _____ sin. ( away from ? ) yes
2. I have been working hard ______ arithmetic. ( in/at ? ) both - "in" for the subject in school, "at" for the concept itself.
3. We suffered ____ your neglect. ( due to ? ) from
4. It is ten o' clock ___ my watch. ( by ? ) yes
5. There is nothing new __ the sun. ( with/about ? ) under (=anywhere on Earth)
6. You, boys, must settle it ___ yourselves. ( amongst/among ? What's the difference in their usage? Please help. ) I'm a bad to ask about this. I don't know either but as an American I rarely use "amongst"
7. The public are cautioned ___ pickpockets. ( against ? ) yes
8. They motored ___ Bombay ___ Poona. ( from; to ? ) yes

Hope you get a better answer for #6

Now's a good time to introduce you to one of the great features of this forum, Ansh Agrawal.

In the Search box at the top of the page, type among/amongst and you'll find links to earlier discussions of this topic.
