Hello everyone,
in the movie "how i met your mother", there was a scene: Ted put on his suit as Barney's requiring, then Barney said, look at you, you beautiful baster, this is going in my block.
what "this is going in my block" means? does it mean that what Ted does totally fits Barney's opinion of wearing and thus satisfied him?
Thanks.

It makes no sense. But "It's going in my book" would mean "This event is so significant that that when I write my memoirs, I'll include it."
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

"Barney" does write a blog, and has referenced it on the show. That seems the likely word used.
