 If you've already said 'She's...' before you realize you can't say '...her', you could say '...the one/the person/the girl...'

Native English TEFL student

The previous posts are of course quite correct, however there are certain idoms and sayings which would use 'she's her' such as, she's her own worst enemy and she's her own person.

Of course. The word 'her' is possessive there, and couldn't be directly followed by a full stop/period.

How can you be a TEFL student if you are a native English speaker?
If you hold the cursor over 'TEFL' in Sherie's post, you'll see.

It reads Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Doesn't it mean that you are a teacher?

Or if you are a student then how could you learn English as a foreign language when you are a native speaker?

One trains to be a teacher. During the period of training, one might be referred to as a trainee (teacher) or student (teacher).

If I am undergoing training to become a teacher, can I be called as student? because I thought only those who learn are called as students not who getting trained.

For example,

I am an engineering student.:tick:

But not

I am a teacher student.(?)

I am a teacher trainee.:tick:

Why would you make teachers the only profession in the world that people don't study to attain? If you are a student studying to be a teacher, you are a student, just as if you are a student studying engineering, you are a student.

I have normally seen/heard them referred to as 'student teachers' or 'trainee teachers'. When I worked as a teacher trainer in TEFL, they were just 'trainees'.

Actually what I am trying to say is that professions like teaching or police there is no particular course so that you can get graduated in that and become teacher or police.

You need to undergo training for these type of professions.

if I am doing graduation then I can be called as student but once I completed my graduation and undergo a training to become a teacher or police , can I be called as teacher student or police student?

In the US, a student teacher is in the classroom teaching under the supervision of a regular teacher as part of their practical instruction. But during the rest of the time, when they are in their own classes learning about their subjects and pedagogy, they are students. If you are in a regular four-year program, you don't become a "student teacher" until your fourth year.
