Q. I just want to make sure that the above is grammatically correct.

I was concerned more with the mixed usage of the that clause and the infinitive phrase.

Okay, let's scrap the sentence then. It's just one I made up to ask a question about the structure as opposed to the content of the sentence, meaning I do not need to rewrite the sentence. I just want to confirm the grammar usage.

A new one:

I have printed many copies about the issue and put them on the wall so that we are reminded about the issue and also to put more efforts into solving it.

So the question is whether independent sentence + so that clause + conjunction+infinitive phrase is grammatically correct.

I ask this because I normally just keep infinitive phrases together with other infinitives (ex. to... and also to...)

We are reminded about it.
We are reminded to put more effort into it.

However, it's not very good style, in my opinion.

It's better to be parallel.
We are reminded to think about it and to put effort into sovling it.
We are reminded about the problem and the need to do more to solve it.

It was clear and helpful (thank you!) but my aim is to have things confirmed and categorized grammatically so I do not run into the similar issue in my head in the future (being multilingual makes it even more difficult to remember rules and etc.). I would like to know if it's grammatically correct, which you were not sure on. So I would like others to comment on it as well.

It's a matter of style, not grammar. If I had got to your question before Barb, I would have give a very similar answer to the one she gave.
