    should+present participle

    Could you explain the use of 'should+present participle' with suitable examples?

    Should cannot be followed by the present participle, only by the bare infinitive of the verb.

    'Should' is not followed by a present participel; it is followed by the bare infinitive 'be', which is itself followed by the present participle. 'Be saying' is a progressive/continuous infinitive form
