    Clause Coherence

Promoting the development of environmental industries is another example. As the pillar industries sustaining our future prosperity, the development of environmental industries can diversify our economy and provide job opportunities to low-educated workers.

Is there any problem in the coherence between the two clause? It the whole sentence acceptable?

    Thanks so much!
