    Until (the time) as a parting

    I wonder if we are allowed to say something like "Until eight", "Until eleven" or "Until 8", "Until 11" when writing email letters. I know we can say "Until later". If we are, do we have to use figures (digits) or write out the number in letters?

    If we are just using the two words as a complete 'sentence', then it's presumably not a fomal email; we can write anything we like. I imagine most people would write the figure.
