    Can I say ... ?

    I need your help please

My friend shared a song with me and I liked it. Can I say: "Thanks for your introduction" ?
If not, what should I say?

    Thanks,

Welcome to the forums, NhTz3. You could, but I would say "Thanks for sharing it with me".

    Re: Can I say ... ?

The context isn't very clear. What do you mean by "share"?
Did you write that song together?
Did you come up with the song and your friend helped you play it? (I've come up with the latter interpretation because musically introduction may mean the very start of the song. So maybe your friend has worked on that part for you.)
Or more simply has your friend played a song you had never heard before for you and you liked it? In which case, your usage of introduction may refer to the verb introduce, e.g. you introduce someone to something new. Should that be the case, however, I would say "Thanks for playing Song Title for me".Hope this helps.
