    full daylight

    Dear teachers,

The shadows had turned into dazzling limelight.

    a. center of public attention b. full daylight

The answer is "b". But I think it should be "a". Is that right?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you in advance.

    Re: full daylight

The modern definition of limelight means the center of attraction.

Used in the theater, it does mean to light up a shadow of the stage.

This is not a good sentence to use as an example of limelight, IMHO.
