    Usage of 'wish'

I wish my future husband to be healthy, and caring,
I hope he is gentle and considerate to me.
I wish we can share our life together, both good and bad!!!

I believe the usage of 'wish' in the first sentence is correct, but I wonder if 'wish' in the third sentence is correct. However, I do not know why it appears wrong to me. Could somebody please help?

    Thanks.

I wouldn't use "wish" in those sentences.

    Thanks. Bhaisahab.

What word would you use in place of 'wish'?

    Re: Usage of 'wish'

I want/would like my future husband to be healthy, and caring.
I hope he is gentle and considerate to me.
I hope we can share our life together, in both good times and bad!

You are right in saying that 'wish' in the third is not right. In the first, it is not exactly wrong, in my opinion, but sounds rather 'little-girl romantic'.
