    don't you dare going out

In the negative form(imperative) could the verb dare be used with the ing form?

e.g. Don't you dare going out! instead of Don't you dare go out!

    (Not a Teacher)

Progressive tense sounds exceedingly strange with "Don't you dare go out!". I don't know exactly why, but I can't think of a scenario where I'd use the progressive.

We don't use the progressive with that imperative phrase.

    Don't you dare do that.
    Don't you dare say that.
Don't you dare eat my dinner.
Don't you dare drink my beer.
Don't you dare correct my English!
