    Have you, yourself..

    If I were to ask somebody if he has (himself?) seen a particular movie, just to make sure that he has, actually, seen the movie and not just heard the story from someone else, how am I supposed to say it?

    1- Have you yourself seen the movie?
    2- Have you seen the movie by yourself?

    1- Have you yourself seen the movie? This would be the correct way to ask the question.
    2- Have you seen the movie by yourself? This would be the way to ask the person if he/she had seen the movie alone or with someone else.
