    Born and Brought up

    1) I was born and brought up in London.
    2) I born born and brought up in London.

Which is correct out of these two sentences?

    Thanks

What would make you think that #2 is correct? Does "I born born ..." sound correct to you? I will be very surprised if you say yes.

    Re: Born and Brought up

    n.1. is correct.
For your information, there's an expression in English which would convey the exact same meaning: I was born and bred in London.
