    Conditional

    Dear teacher,
    Which one of these sentences is correct?

    1) My friend retired on August 1, 2011; he would have had completed 30 years of service on december 1, 2011

    or,

    2) My friend retired on august 1, 2011; he would have completed 30 years of service on december 1, 2011
