    to OR too

    Hi

It's from a book review about meditation:

In addition to practical steps, the book offers mental advice for times when one feels to groggy to engage in meditation, or encounters mental roadblocks during its performance.

Should it be "to groggy" or "too groggy"?

    Thanks

Yes, it should be "too groggy". I don't like the use of the word "its" at the end either. It doesn't make sense.

I think "its" refers to "meditation".

Do you recommend to change it into "... mental roadblocks while meditating" But then it will be a repetition I think ;)

    [AmE - not a teacher]

"while meditating" sounds much better and doesn't sound redundant to me.

The phrase "mental advice" bugs me.
