    especially the listening

when i listen to the chinese speaking ,though they speak very fast,i can understand what they are saying and their meaning

but when i listen to the native speakers,i can not exactly catch what they are saying,i think they speak too fast even there is no short how should i do to catch them

    I have two ideas.

One thing you can do is ask people to slow down so you can better understand them. Another thing you can do is get some audio tapes. You can listen to them as often as you want and get yourself somewhat accustomed to the pace of conversational speech. That should help some.

There should be somebody else along after a while to give you better suggestions. In the meantime, welcome to our friendly forum.

I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.
