    'Used to form' anda past simple

    Hello.
    I Had an english text at university, today. We were asked to translate some sentences from italian to english. I need to know if both of those forms are correct, or the second one is wrong:

    John worked in a bank from 1995 to 2003

    John used to work in a bank from 1995 to 2003
