    Talking ask for information

    Hi all teachers.
The IPA of the word tourist is tʊr.ɪst/.,but in speaking I heard like tʊ.rɪst.
I want to know if we can start a second syllabus with the sound I.

    Thank you

How many times do you need to be told that the word is "syllable"?

    Hi all teachers.
    I've read this
". A syllable is typically made up of a syllable nucleus (most often a vowel) with optional initial and final margins (typically, consonants)."
    . syllable division
    in my Cambridge dictionary
it ˈtʊr.ɪst (in am pronunciation and in British it is ˈtʊə.rɪst)
so there are is two syllable!
    thank you
