    Don't stay up to V / Ving?

    1. Don't stay up to study math.
    2. Don't stay up studying math.
Which of the above sentences is correct?

    (Not a Teacher)

Both sentences work. #2 feels a little more natural.

#1 suggests that you can stay up, but that the purpose of doing so should not be to study math.

    Probably not the intended meaning!
