Is this sentence right?
Of all the jobs Joe could have chosen ,he regrets hasn't joined the police
I feel hasn't joined is wrong and if so what is the right form?
Note your comma should go immediately after "chosen" and then leave a space before "he." Don't leave the space after "chosen" and put "he" directly after the comma.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Thank you for your reply bilmcd and Barb_D
I find the combination of "jobs he could have chosen" and "hasn't joined/not having joined".
Of all the jobs he could have chosen not to take, not joining the police is the one he regrets most.
