    return Email / Email return

    Dear all,

    I would like to send an Email to a colleague to ask him to forward some scanned documents to me by Email.

    Is it possible to write: "thank you to provide me asap with the scanned copies of [...] by Email return / return Email"?

    Thank you

    Guillaume

    You would say "return email" rather than "email return," but billmcd's wording is better.

    Since it sounds like the documents have already been scanned, I think it might be odd to re-ask the recipient to scan them. Perhaps this, above? BTW, ASAP (I've also seen "asap") can seem rude, if this is a formal setting. If so, you can spell it out "as soon as possible".

    Re: return Email / Email return

    Thank you all!

    But I see that Billmcd wrote "provide to me", BobSmith wrote "provide me" and I thought it was "provide me with"

    Which solution(s) is/are correct(s)?

    All are correct in the right context.
