    which is correct to describe an invitatio:open,general,or public?

    I made a poster to invite people to attend my dissertaion,what is the correct expression to use in this context?

    open,general,or public invitation ?

    See my amendments above.

    - Start every new sentence with a capital letter.
    - End every sentence with the relevant punctuation mark (full stop, questions mark, exclamation mark).
    - Always put a space after a comma.
    - Do not put a space before a question mark.
