    Question

What is the name ( of the) your country?
    Is it possible to omit
    (of the) from the question?
Then what is the best answer of the question?
    Is it?

My country name is Iraq. or
The name of my country is Iraq.

    Thanks alot

    No. You should omit "the".
What is the name of your country?

    Yes.

    Thanks
    a lot(two words).
    See above.

It's quite an unnatural question. We would normally ask "Which country are you from?" or "Where are you from?" and reply "I'm from Iraq".

You can omit "the", it's wrong. You cannot omit "of". "The name of my country is Iraq" is correct.

Remember to start every new sentence with a capital letter. It's good to get into the habit now, while you're still quite new on the forum, and then we won't have to make lots of corrections to your posts in the future.
