    four people did not....

    Are these sentences correct:

    1-Four people did not cause all this damage. There must have been more people involved.
    2-Only four people did not cause all this damage. There must have been more people involved.
    3-Four people alone did not cause all this damage. There must have been more people involved.
    4-There were not four people who did this damage. There must have been more people involved.

    5-Only four people could not have caused all this damage. There must have been more people involved.

    The sentences are supposed to be uttered in reply to something like:
    Four people caused this damage./Four people did this.

    Only 3 is proper English.
    More natural: "There's no way all this damage was done by only four people."
