    Sir
    Kindly teach me with few examples the use of simple infinitives in passive form i.e. to be repaired, to be placed, to caught etc. etc.

    To be placed in jail is not a pleasant prospect. = Being placed in jail is not a pleasant prospect. = It's not a pleasant prospect to be placed in jail.
