Are the following sentences acceptable?

1. Jack is too picky over girls. Yes, but I prefer "about" girls.
2. Do boys get less picky over girls as they grow older? OK, but again I prefer "about" to "over".
3. Jack is too demanding and impossible to [STRIKE]sataisfy[/STRIKE] satisfy. OK with the spelling correction.
4. Jack is too demanding and has a long list of expectations. OK with the spelling correction.
5. Jack has great expectations [STRIKE]over[/STRIKE] about/of girls.
6. Jack always swings for the fence over girls. No, this makes no sense.
7. Don't set [STRIKE]yout[/STRIKE] your sights too high! It's OK now.

See above. #6 is the only one I can't make any sense of.

I agree with emsr2d2 on this, and would suggest as other common alternatives:
"Jack is too picky with girls" and "Jack is too picky when it comes to girls".
I understand that #6 is a baseball analogy meaning to set your sights very high, to try for something that is probably beyond you. You might say "Jack always goes for broke with girls", or ".. goes for girls out of his league", or .. tries to punch above his weight".
Or to use an old Australian expression: "Jack goes for the prettiest girl in the room, it'll always be Sydney or the bush with him".
