    Please make the following in red clear for me.

    In the future, instead of striving to be right at a high cost, it will be more appropriate to be flexible and plural at a lower cost. If you cannot accurately predict the future then you must flexibly be prepared to deal with various possible futures.

    Does the above mean "providing high-quality products at a high cost"?

    On second thought, "right" seems to have something to do here with pride - acting on principle. The author urges him/her to start looking at things a bit differently, be less hot-headed and more flexible and pragmatic.
