    How do you pronounce 'Nyame'?

    I looked over dictionaries but it has no description.

    It's a name, found chiefly in Africa or people of African descent as far as I can tell from various web searches. "Gye Nyame" means "except God" and denotes the fact that nothing happens in life without God, so it appears that some people are named after the second half of that phrase.

    For the pronunciation, you would need to ask someone from a country where it is a traditional/common name.
