What is the difference between "cilia" and "fimbriae"?
Here is the context for more clarification:

"Fimbriae are finger like projections which are part of the infundibulum, the funnel shaped end of the fallopian tube. The cilia, or the tiny microscopic whips on the fimbriae at the same time help the movement of the ovary to the infundibulum” .

You can provide pictures to show the difference.

Cilia are the tiny microscopic whips on the fimbriae.
Fimbriae are the structures on which there are tiny microscopic whips called cilia.

This isn't really a question about English. They are Latin anatomical terms.
