    is this sentence correct?

    My salary requirement is in the $XX to $YY range; however, my salary is negotiable based upon the position. I want to be given the opportunity to work for your company.

    Yes, but the use of "want" sounds a little demanding for a job seeker. Instead I would say, for example, "I am very much interested in working for your company".
