    Hello,

    1) Can you please pull the television back a little more?

    2) Can you please pull the television a little more back?

    I couldn't figure out where to put 'back' in that sentence.

    As you can see above, with your particular choice of words, it's "pull the television back" followed by how much you want it pulled back. However, had you chosen a slightly different construction, that would not necessarily have been true.

    Can you please push the TV a little further forward.
    Can you please pull the TV a little further back.
