    How can we make a distiction btw "press on " and "press ahead"?Please, help me.

    What do you mean? One has 'on' in it, and one has 'ahead'.
    You can say "Press on the button/door", but you can't say "Press ahead the button/door."

    How do you want to use these phrases?
