    freckles

    Dear teachers,

    1) Could you please help me to complete this sentence so that the word freckles can be understood from the context.

I could tell them apart by their freckles.

    2) We do not use the future after "while", we use the present instead?

    Many thanks,
    Hela

    Re: freckles

1- I assume that they had similar patterns of freckles, so that freckles alone were not enough to distinguish them.
    2- Normally, yes.

    Re: freckles

Yes, tdol. But what should I add to the sentence so that the word "freckles" can be understood by someone who doesn't know the word ?

    See you,

    Re: freckles

I'm not sure- would 'the freckles on their faces' help? At least we now known where they are.
