    for me to have friends

    Can one say:
1-My life is too dangerous to have friends.
    instead of:
2-My life is too dangerous for me to have friends.

    Gratefully,
    Navi.

Re: for me to have friends

I prefer the second because the first suggests that it is your life which has friends, instead of it being you who has friends.
