    did you fax this ?

Hello, Teacher, can you check this sentence? Thank you.

Did you fax this number? I just received a call from someone advising that there is a telephone number and she has requested that that person stop faxing to this number.

I'm not sure I understand who is sending the fax, who is receiving the fax and who you are!

Is the "someone" in your sentence receiving faxes in error and she wants those faxes to stop? Or is she picking up her telephone and hearing the high-pitched squeal which indicates someone is trying to send a fax? Are you someone in the middle of this faxing debacle?

I'd still like you to clarify the above but it's possible that you are looking for "Did you fax something/Have you been faxing things to 00-34-XXX-XXXX? I've received a call from a lady who says that that is not a fax number, it's a telephone number, so she would be grateful if you would stop trying to send faxes to it."

I did not know who sent the faxes so I wanted to send an email to that person requesting her to stop sending faxes to that telephone number. Teacher, your sentence is clearer. Thank you.
