    right order

    Hello everyone! How are you?

Today I have a simple question, but it's important.

It's about the right structure of some questions, example:

"What is this?" - We should use this question when we don't know nothing about what some thing is, shouldn't we?

Then my doubt is: If I want to make a specific question how should I write? Example:

What color is this? or What is this color?
What food is this? or What is this food?

I'm not sure if both are correct or if one of them is more usual. So please, help me!!!
