    Present perfect of past simple

    "I haven't seen you lately". The next sentence would be "where did you go" or "where have you gone"

    It would depend on the situation. Without further context, "Where have you been?" seems the most likely to me.

    'Where did you go?' does not seeem very likely to me, and' where have you gone?' is incorrect. What were the other two choices?

    "where were you staying" and "where are you staying". I don't think they're right

    None of them is good. 'Where are you staying?' and 'Where did you go?' are not impossible, but they really neeed more context to make sense. If there is no more context, then it's a bad question, in my opinion.
