    Cool Can you help me correct three sentences? Thank you!

    The real estate price is exceedingly high; most people can't afford it. Suppose the salary of a youth is RMB 5000 a month, he has to work for four years to pay for the down payment without spending the money in other places. And he probably work for a whole life under pressure of mortgage.

    You could read/hear either, but not having ever bought gold I suspect that there is only one standard price at any given time regardless from whom or where you would purchase it. So, in that case I would not use "prices". Also, you might frequently hear/read, "The price of gold etc.".
