Hello Teacher, is this sentence correct?

We would appreciate all efforts to provide this information as soon as possible.

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

(1) I do not feel comfortable with "all efforts."

(2) I would suggest something like:

"We would greatly appreciate every effort to provide the information as soon as possible."

*****

"Every effort" = every possible effort on your part.

There's nothing wrong with 'we would appreciate...', but I would expect 'Please make every effort...' or 'Please see to it that your staff make every effort...' to have more of an effect; generally tell the person you're writing to what you want them to do. ;-)

I thought "would appreciate" would imply more politeless and was more often used in addressing someone of a higher rank, whether socially or bureaucratically, than "please do this or make that" would.

We don't often ask superiors to make efforts, however politely we might say it.
