I'm doing an exercise with connectors and I'm not sure about two sentences:
1. "For our car was late, we couldn't get where we needed on time". - I've read that opinions differ on whether you could use it at the beginning like that or not, but just at first sight, doest it sound ok?
2. (pretty sure this one is totally wrong) - "Therefore he hated the staff, he decided to find another job."
I know very well about other ways to say all that, but I have a limited amount of given words.
Thanks
