    The simple past tense

    Hi,

i have a question on the simple past tense.

    1. She is erased from my memory.
    2. She was erased from my memory.

Does no.2 mean that now i can remember her?

    Thanks.

    Re: The simple past tense

No. You would have to say "She had been erased from my memory, but I found a backup and did a restore."
