Red face "made of" and "made out of"

    Hi.
I'd like to ask a question: What is the difference between 'made of' and 'made out of', for example, 'a box made of wood' and 'a box made out of wood'?
    Thanks!

So 'made of' and 'made out of' always mean the same thing, right?

Re: "made of" and "made out of"

You cannot take an answer replying to a specific context and then immediately say it's "always" so.

There are few of us here comfortable with "always" when it comes to grammar or vocabulary.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
