    Cool during or in?

    Hi

    Do you say:

"he often went swimming during his youth"? or "he often went swimming in his youth"

I would use "in" although I would be more likely to change the word order to "In his youth, he often went swimming". I would be even more likely to use "He often went swimming when he was young".
