    Dear teachers

Should I use 'selective' or 'selected' in the following sentence. And what is the difference between 'selective/selected/select' as adjective? Please advise.

Property developers were one of the few sectors delivering selective/selected earnings surprise.

    Re: Selected/select/selective

I am afraid the sentence means little to me with either word.
