Does the following in red mean "without a monitor"? If so, is a computer without a monitor possible?
Robin compared the iPod to the G4 Cube, an attractive, monitor-less computer that failed to catch on.
Maybe that's why it failed to catch on. Like Write Only Memory.
This was it, apparently: Power Mac G4 Cube - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As you can see from the Features paragraph, "a separate monitor was required" so although the actual processor/computer itself was sold without a monitor, you couldn't actually use it without a monitor. I'm not really sure how that compares to an iPod!
