The three words of hazard, risk, danger sound all similar, but as I found on the internet, the difference is like this. I need your further opinion.
1. Hazard - specific, anything that can harm you physically, such as working up a ladder, electricity, chemicals, etc.
2. Danger - generic and vague, a sign like "Danger! Bend curve ahead" on the road.
3. risk - the chance of experiencing hazards.

Danger can be specific IMO.

Hello,

I was trying to write a sentence about the Internet and kids, something like:

"Parents should be very careful to protect their children from the (perils/risks/dangers/hazards) of the Internet".
Can you help me understand what is the correct word and why, please?
Thank you very much.

In the above, "dangers" is okay; I'm comfortable with "perils" but less likely to use "risks" or "hazards."
