    Inversion, Grammar check please.

Those sentences below are examples in my book ◆.
◆A While he was an extraordinary pitcher, Babe was also developing a reputation as a powerful left-handed hitter.
→B While an extraordinary pitcher, Babe was also developing a reputation as a powerful left-handed hitter.c A and B?
What is proper expressions for spoken English for informal situation beween A and B?

◆C The Jains, although they are not numerous, are still a part of the religious mosaic of modern India.
→D The Jains, although not numerous, are still a part of the religious mosaic of modern India.
What is proper expressions for colloquial English for informal situation of C and D?

    Re: Inversion, Grammar check please.

All four are correct grammar. None are informal or colloquial. The second of each pair sounds more natural to me.

As for your other sentence, you have another thread on that. Please do not post unrelated questions in the same thread, and please don't post the same question more than once.

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
